Mr. Arunjai Mittal – Chairman

Mr. Mittal currently serves as a member on the Board of ASTAR, Singapore, Renesas Electronics Ltd., Japan, as a Supervisory Board member at Tesa SE in Hamburg, as a Director at Silicon Solutions Ventures in Singapore. He is also a non-executive Chairman of an NTU spin-off start-up Zero-Error Systems Pte Ltd. Previously, he has served as a Board member at the Economic Development Board (EDB), Singapore, Supervisiory Board member at Osram Licht AG, and was also a Board member of A*ccelerate Pte Ltd. Mr Mittal spent more than 20 years at Infineon Technologies AG, where he was a member of the Management Board, in Munich, from 2012 to 2016. He studied Electronics Engineering at Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India, and has participated in various management programs at INSEAD, Harvard Business School and IMD. 

Mr. Carlos Mazure

Mr. Carlos Mazure has led the development of strategic advanced technologies at Soitec since 2001. He works closely with academic research labs and Soitec customers and suppliers. He is now Special Advisor to the CEO. Prior to joining Soitec, Mr. Carlos Mazure served as executive vice president of business development at Infineon Technologies AG, where he was involved with the IBM-Infineon DRAM Development Alliance. His experience also includes work on BiCMOS-on-SOI high-performance components at Motorola Corp. Mr. Carlos has filed more than 100 patents worldwide and is the author of 120 scientific papers. He holds two PhDs in physics, one from the University of Grenoble, France, and the other from the Technical University of Munich, Germany.

Mr. Gerard Singham

Mr Gerald Singham is an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore. He is currently Global Vice-Chair & ASEAN CEO, Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP. Mr Singham currently sits on the Boards of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Republic Polytechnic and the National Heritage Board. He also serves as Chairman of the National Crime Prevention Council and Singapore Non-Resident Ambassador to the United Mexican States. Mr Singham is a Member of various committees. He is a Member of the Military Court of Appeal. He was former Vice Chairman and current Adviser to OnePeople.sg (a national body that promotes racial harmony in Singapore). He was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2005, the Public Service Star in 2009, and the Public Service Star (Bar) in 2019.

Mr. Till Vestring

Mr. Till Vestring is an advisory partner with Bain & Company Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. He joined Bain’s Munich office in 1990 and has spent the last 25 years in Asia. He previously served as Bain Southeast Asia’s managing partner, as well as the leader of the firm’s Asia Pacific Industrial Goods & Services practices. He has published articles on strategy, M&A and cost competitiveness topics in the Harvard Business Review, the Sloan Management Review, and other publications. Till has a Masters in Economics from the University of Bonn in Germany. Prior to receiving an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley, he worked as an analyst at Mark Producing. He is a non-executive board member of Inchcape plc, Keppel Corporation, Delaware International and Leap201.

Mr. Cary Schmelzer

Mr. Cary Schmelzer is a veteran international lawyer with decades of cross-border M&A, venture and project financing experience in the emerging markets / Asia-Pacific. He transitioned to senior in-house counsel roles (with an emphasis on energy) after being trained at Milbank, Tweed and Morrison & Foerster. He is a long-time permanent resident of Singapore. He graduated from Yale, University of Pennsylvania and the National University of Singapore.
